The Problem
Job searching is fragmented across 10+ tools: LinkedIn for discovery, spreadsheets for tracking, ChatGPT for prep, email for outreach. NEXO unifies the entire lifecycle into one AI-native product.
The Approach
Designed and built NEXO as a 0→1 product — starting with user journey mapping across the five stages of a job search: discover, evaluate, apply, prepare, and decide. AI agents handle opportunity scoring, resume tailoring suggestions, and interview question generation contextualised to each JD.
Architecture / System Design
Built on a Next.js + Supabase stack. AI layer uses multi-step prompt chains for JD analysis, skill gap identification, and contextual interview prep. Job data ingested via structured scraping pipelines. Kanban-style lifecycle board for tracking application stages. Deployed and live.
Outcomes
Shipped as a complete, deployed product. The AI-driven scoring and tailoring features replicate in minutes what previously took hours of manual research per application.
